Meet Noop and Paw, the new toys being released as part of Coarse's “False Friends” collection. One is a human dressed as a rabbit (that would be Noop)and the other looks kind of looks like a rabbit / robot (in case you lost track, that would be Paw). Pictured above is an eco friendly creature affectionately referred to as Forest Spirit Wee Ninja . 100% organic, sustainable, and handmade, the little bugger was created in celebration of Earth Day using the following materials:
~ The fabric and thread used to form the body and head are constructed of organic cotton/hemp
~ The mask around the eyes is constructed of natural wool and leaves which are also naturally dyed
~ The eyes are wood, bio-degradable and natural
~ A hemp cord was used for the hang tag and leaf satchel, the hand-cut leaves are naturally dyed and 100% wool felt
~ The stuffing is kapok tree fiber: an all-natural fiber pulled from the seed pods of the kapok tree
~ The glue used to adhere the mask and eyes is non-toxic

"Now more than ever it's important to consider the impact we have on our environment. The Forest Ninja project is as much an exploration of the organic and sustainable materials available as it is a new addition to the Ninjatown line. Personally I don't think this line of dolls sends the right message to little girls, but maybe that's just because I don't want to see my future Didi dressed in fishnet stockings and platform shoes wearing more makeup than a hooker at age 5 (because let's face it people, that is the target market age for these little glam sluts).

But true to Barbie's real profession as a clothes horse and supermodel, the doll had her own show during New York Fashion Week where top designers such as Calvin Klein and Alexander Wang created outfits inspired by the doll.

Barbie was first introduced wearing a black and white swimsuit, sunglasses, and black open toe shoes.
