I'll huff, and I'll puff...

Design team Kengo Kuma and Associates developed this stunning architecture created entirely out of bamboo.  Located in the countryside near Beijing the project is part of a program implemented in 2002 and carried out by Asia's Top Ten best-known architects.  Each is responsible for the construction of ten villas which will be part of a communal dwelling (for a total of one-hundred) in a forest adjacent to the Great Wall of China.

The intention was, "to apply the nature of the Great Wall to the act of dwelling.  This is why the house it titled 'wall' instead of 'house'..."

Pictured below: A candid glimpse inside the home.
